The Stratcore Annual Report Rating Best Language Award (PDF) When you release annual figures, interims or other important financial news, investors, analysts and the media want to hear what you have to say. And today’s global investment strategies mean your target audiences could be international too. Clearly, it is important that you communicate your message well with the assurance that it corresponds in style, content and clarity with the version in your own language. After all, it makes sense to ensure that all localized versions meet the same exacting standards as the original.
That is where Stratcore comes in. We believe company critical documents deserve a structured, best practice approach when adapting them to international audiences. To that end, we have assembled a team of highly qualified and long-established financial writers, translators and proofreaders.
Clarity, confidence and honesty are everything when it comes to corporate messages. They should also be well-written and error-free. While seeking to preserve the original stylistic essence of your messages, our ultimate aim is to deliver texts that read as though they were the original, not a translation. Naturally, we apply stringent security procedures and confidentiality agreements and work to your strict deadlines.

Our
financial
translators have special training in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
With increased globalisation of the world economy, it's important to focus on harmonisation of international reporting standards.
With effect from January 2005, all listed companies in the European Union must follow the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the EU.
In the case of Swedish into English translations, if financial terms are translated into English using the old-style terminology, prospective investors and other parties reading a financial report will find it difficult to follow things up.
Serious Swedish companies and banks have already adopted this terminology in their English
financial translations. As well as allowing harmonisation of terminology it also acts as an aid to comparability with competitors or other entities in the Group.
And last but not least, using IFRS terminology in the English translation increases the company's credibility and avoids a Swenglish-sounding report!
Make Stratcore the language services partner at the core of your multilingual communications strategy.
